The Ravenwood High flag football team brought home the first Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) Girls Flag Football State Invitational title.

Alex Osburn - Athlete of the Week
“Alex had an amazing section 3 championship meet Thursday night at Ravenwood. First, he anchored the 4x800m to a berth at the state meet as they ran 7:57, the fastest time by a Ravenwood squad since 2014. Next, he had a furious finish to qualify for state in the 800m run in 1:56.42. Finally, he anchored the 4x400m team as they qualified for state as well. “Brett was a big part of our week. He has paced our offense all season. This week he hit .461, 2 RBI, 3 runs scored and 6 stolen bases. When he is not tearing up the bases, he is holding down shortstop for us. Brett also helped us secure a big district win on the mound - starting the game as a left-handed pitcher and being his own reliever, right-handed. She got second in the long jump Friday with a huge PR, then came back Saturday to win the 100m hurdles and 400m dash (setting another PR) and run on the 4x400m relay that finished first.
